Bencor has existed in South Africa for over 40 years. From its inception, Bencor has been an importer of hydraulic equipment and associated products. Due mainly to the product's reliability and superiority, sided with Bencors’ marketing efforts, Bencor has made a significant impact on the local market.
At the same time, Bencor produced hydraulic presses, which are still widely used in all industries.
In the 1970’s, Mr. Gerhard Walch bought Bencor. With Personal dedication, Bencor was forged into the South African hydraulic industry as a major role player.
During these years, Walch Engineering Co (Pty) Ltd, which had been operating as a hydraulic and mechanical machine design and manufacturing company, took over the function of press building from Bencor.
Walch presses have gained a healthy respect in the industry, due to the high standard set, in our production line.
